Our Venue
Our venue this year is once more the amazing Estrel Hotel in Berlin. It features a large amount of rooms, restaurants, and a lot of convention space to roam around it. The Estrel offers a welcoming, home away from home atmosphere all set up for Eurofurence.
The Estrel Berlin is Europe's largest Convention, Entertainment & Hotel Complex. Home to 1,125 comfortable rooms and luxury suites, the Estrel offers us all the convention space we need and then some. Arriving at the hotel you enter through the spacious lobby which makes you feel right at home. The lobby has plenty of space to lounge around, meet up with friends, have a drink or just enjoy all the fursuits passing by. The Estrel has everything you need located within the hotel and convention center so that you’ll never need to stray far from the action.
Directly connected to the hotel is the Estrel convention center. Are you worried EF will run out of space? Worry not! This convention center features a main hall that alone will host 6000 people comfortably. In addition to the main hall, the Estrel has 60 more convention rooms for a grand total of 15,000 m² convention space. Each convention room features all the latest techniques and climate control so it’ll be no problem to attend events in fursuit. As if all of this wasn’t enough space, the hotel also connects to the Estrel Festival Center which hosts daily live shows.

About the Prices
- All prices here are only provided as a convenience service for your reference. We accept no liability in case of discrepancies to the rates listed in the actual hotel reservation confirmation.
- Prices are always per room, not per person
- Prices listed include sales tax, the Berlin city tax, and full breakfast
- Checkin any time after 15:00; checkout by noon

Restaurants
Next to offering us all this space, the Estrel is also home to several restaurants offering a wide variety of food. With three restaurants to choose from, you’re sure to find something to your liking.
La Terrasse
"La Terrasse" is housed in an open mezzanine located in the hotel atrium. Here, you can start your day with our breakfast buffet's serving of fresh breakfast rolls, a variety of healthy muesli cereals, fresh fruit, and delicious egg dishes.
Breakfast is served from 07:30 til 10:30 (til 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday).
Grill (à la carte)
Our elegant restaurant "Grill" features premium steak quality. We serve a large selection of grilled specialties.
Our offering includes fish, burger and of course first-class beef steaks.

Portofino (à la carte)
The Portofino’s relaxed atmosphere is underscored by Mediterranean cuisine and the taste of "La Dolce Vita". Our seasonal menu features traditional Italian dishes created with great care before your eyes by our skilled chefs in the show kitchen.

Estrel-Stube (à la carte)
Our rustic Estrel-Stube offers you hearty German cuisine. Take a seat on our wooden terrace and enjoy a culinary stroll through the country’s most famous dishes. Whether you’re in the mood for beef goulash with mushrooms and "Spätzle" noodles to "Leberkäse", you’ll find our menu choices simply scrumptious.

Bars
So, where to go after dinner? You won't need to look far!
The Estrel has several bars ready to offer you a cold drink.
Atriumbar
The Atriumbar is the prime meeting spot in our bright, light-filled hotel lobby. The bar serves light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as well as more potent liquors and mixes. It is open from 08:00 til 02:00, serving snacks til midnight.
Pianobar
Let yourself unwind and enjoy the Pianobar, found by walking through the Atrium from the hotel lobby. The Pianobar is open from 17:00 - 02:00.
Smokers' Lounge & Bar
Provides a relaxed atmosphere for smokers and non-smokers alike. The smokers' lounge is open from 12:00 - 03:00 and is the bad weather alternative to the Summer Garden.
As usual we will also have the small bar in Foyer 1 of the Convention Center which offers cool drinks and small snacks. It opens in the afternoon and closes depending on guest volume.
Down in the summer garden we have one of the two outdoor bars serving you cool refreshments and cocktails.
And the latest addition is the outdoor bar which comes along with the new food trucks. It is open the same times as the food trucks and will be operated by the Estrel.
Coming this year - New & Tasty!
Something new is coming the Estrel's way. Something to take care of your daily meal requirements.
From Wednesday to Saturday night we will offer additional food and drink options which will be located outside, just underneath the Rotunda. Several food trucks will be serving you a variant of tasty meals and beverages from 18:00 til 04:00, so we even got all you nighthawks covered! The menu ranges from bagels, wraps and fries to Asian food and halloumie burgers and much more!
Exterior Hotel Area
The Estrel entrance is opposite our Summer Garden on the water – the premiere outdoor meeting spot on Sonnenallee. The Summer Garden is home to majestic, shady chestnut trees, a terrace-shaped stairway offering amphitheater-like seating, a fountain, a snack pavilion and a landing pier. We will also host the daily campfire there, where folks can relax and enjoy a nice beer. Whenever weather allows it is open from 12:00 - 03:00, serving food from 18:00 til 22:00 and drinks up til 02:00.
Near and around the Hotel
All of this not enough for you? Want to get away from all the furry action for a bit? There's plenty to do around the hotel!
A short 400 meter walk away there is a Netto supermarket and a number of lovely restaurants. Just 2 kilometers away from the hotel, you'll be able to enjoy 89 hectares of forest at the "Plänterwald" if you just want to get away from it all. Of course, the concierge team at the Estrel is happy to provide tips on all the things to see and do in Berlin. If you wish to go sightseeing, they'll be the ones to tell you what to see and how to get there.
Also don't forget to check out the Show your Badge program, which gives every convention attendee a discount at certain bars, restaurants etc. For a list of participating venues refer to the flyer in your conbook or check the respective section in the official Eurofurence App!
But even the restaurants not participating are worth a visit - there's a lot of vegetarian and even all-vegan options within walking distance from the hotel. Just ask your magic friend.
