I think I'm not exaggerating if I say that it was the coolest
Eurofurence we ever had. We had more than 240 guests, almost half
of them from outside of germany, and the convention even managed
to break even financially. Everything went almost smoothly. The group picture above was taken by
Wolfhugz. Also, the original homepage is
archived here.
I wish to thank our guests and the whole
Eurofurence 7 team, especially those who were not officially on the
staff list, but without whom we would have been in serious trouble:
- The Security Team - many volunteers who spent hours on duty, missing
the most important events, standing in the most boring places at the
most unlikely times ... and yet, calmly resolving every single
problem that occured.
- Our Dealers and Artists - Both the art show and the dealer's den
have been very successful this year. There have been many great
contributions of artwork, and the nice people from United Publications
nearly had their clothes stripped of by the surrounding furry fans.
- MaleLion, Beholder and Shir Khan - for doing 74% of the stage
setup, even though they knew it wasn't supposed to be their job. We'd
never have been ready in time without your help!
- Fjordwolf - for saving the Variety Show
Even more thanks go out to our special guests:
- Lee "Chairo" Strom - for his participation in the pawpet show, bravely performing
the Racoon Song without losing his mind, and generally for being
a very nice person.
- Lisanne "Hyperkitty" Norman - who really DID read all the stories that furries
submitted, and spent many hours during the convention sitting together
with all the amateur writers, giving advice on style and storytelling.
- Mark "Sylys" Merlino - It was a great pleasure to have the person who started
the whole furry convention thing more than 12 years ago among our guests.
Also thanks for the very nice chat we had during the "Organising
Conventions" SIG.
Finally, thanks to all other people who have worked very hard to make
Eurofurence what it is today:
- Jumpy, Tabalon, Eisfuchs, Reesa,
Nightfox, Redlouts, Akeela, Zenny Lupo, Fairlight, Lynard, Cougar,
Murphy, Thalian, doco, Cairyn, Dawnwolf, Frauke, Bander, Watani, Kiroja,
Pegla, Hurga, O'Wolf, Bor, Taketa, Helen Lofting, Rhondil, Shirkadya,
Sewerrat, Tigerseye, MOW, Kai Silvermane, Kralle, Chama, Ioron, Silber, Shadowfox, everyone involved in the
shuttle service, everyone who contributed artwork for the t-shirt contest
and everyone who donated prizes for the lottery.

Conventions always create lots of chaos. Our cleanup crew has found several
items whose owners we were unable to identify. On the other hand, some
people are still missing items. If one of the followig items belongs to you,
or if you have lost anything at EF7, please write to Cheetah.
Lost
- 1 Walkie-Talkie type "Pocket Comm Profi" - It's likely someone among the volunteers
of the security staff has accidently taken this one home. If you have it PLEASE let me know,
because the radio belongs to someone else, and I'm liable for it. (Cheetah)
